1991

Establishment of SOROCAM (SOciété ROumaine de CARrières et Matériaux) a joint venture between Colas SA (51%) and the National Road Administration (AND - 49%).

The first company in Romania specialized in road construction and transport infrastructure with majority private capital.

Procurement of equipment for the NOVACOL construction site for DN1 Bucharest-Ploiesti.

Important road infrastructure projects we have been involved in:

1992 - 1999

Purchase of six bitumen emulsion production plants (Turda, Bucharest West, Buzău, Craiova, Săcălaz, Timișești), three asphalt plants (Otopeni, Frătești, Săcălaz) and one quarry (Revărsarea).

1999

Changes in shareholdings:
- Colas SA 75.03% of the share capital
- National Road Administration 24.97%.

2008

Road construction activity - transferred to Colas Drumuri SA.

2009 - present

Industrial activity - production and marketing of asphalt, bitumen emulsion and quarry aggregates.

2015

A quarter of a century on the market of construction materials for transport infrastructure.

2017 - 2018

Increase production capacity by purchasing the Benninghoven TBA160U asphalt plant in Popești Leordeni and renting a MARINI160 asphalt plant in Arad.

2020

Installation of the IMA80 asphalt station in Cluj

2021
